Account & Data Deletion

Date to Marry  ·  Effective date: May 2, 2026

You have the right to delete your Date to Marry account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to request deletion, what data is removed, what data is retained, and what happens to active matches when you delete.

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted, your profile, photos, onboarding answers, messages, and relationship companion data cannot be recovered. If you are unsure, consider pausing your account first (available in Settings) rather than deleting it.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: In the App (Recommended)

  1. Open the Date to Marry app and log in to your account.
  2. Tap the Profile or Settings tab.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete my account".
  4. Review the information about what will be deleted.
  5. Confirm your decision. You may be asked to enter your password or verify your identity to proceed.
  6. Your account will be scheduled for deletion. You will receive a confirmation email.

Option 2: By Email

If you are unable to access the App, you may request account deletion by emailing [email protected] from your registered email address with the subject line: "Account Deletion Request". Include your full name and registered email address. We will process your request within 30 days.
